The Filipinas Institute for the Advancement of Arts and Culture (FILARTS) is a non-stock, non-profit corporation built with an aim to promote, preserve, develop, protect, and advance the Filipino arts and culture.
It also aims to provide a venue for a healthy exchange of ideas on how to promote local arts and culture, while developing a sense of global competitiveness among local artists, masters and emerging alike.
Furthermore, FILARTS aims to create linkages with art and cultural organizations, private institutions and corporations which have programs for the promotion of culture and arts, community-based art associations and institutions, and government agencies, not only to get the necessary funding for its projects but also to promote camaraderie and unity among advocates of arts and culture.
